Leasehold Properties

When you purchase a leasehold property you are purchasing the legal rights from the freehold owner to reside in that property for a fixed number of years, after which the title to the property returns to the freehold owner of the property.

The fees listed below provide a general guide for you, our fees are very much dependent on the amount of work involved in the transaction and the price of your property.

For property prices up to £200,000:

SJS Solicitors fees excluding disbursements are:

Leasehold = £975 + VAT = £1170
Freehold = £825 + VAT = £990

For property prices between £200,000 and £400,000:

SJS Solicitors legal fees excluding disbursements are:

Leasehold = £1075 + VAT = £1290
Freehold = £925 + VAT = £1110

For property prices between £400,000 and £700,000:

SJS Solicitors legal fees excluding disbursements are:

Leasehold = £1175 + VAT = £1410
Freehold = £1025 + VAT = £1230

For property prices between £700,000 and £1 million:

SJS Solicitors legal fees excluding disbursements are:

Leasehold = £1275 + VAT = £1530
Freehold = £1125 + VAT = £1350
